		<description>I personally never miss an occasion to praise the team or team members on weekly team meetings (where my boss is also invited). &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yes, it is important to show the praise in front of &quot;important persons&quot;. It&#039;s even better when they come with a &quot;thank you&quot; message. I&#039;m lucky because I don&#039;t need to ask my boss to do that, but I wouldn&#039;t hesitate to ask him about that.</description>

I think it also helps to allow &#039;the thanked one&#039; to know that your words of praise are read/heard by the eyes/ears of &#039;people who matter&#039;. I use &#039;weekly messages&#039; which the team and senior stakeholders receive. It&#039;s the &#039;project newspaper&#039; and always a great motivator for your team members to see their names in lights. Nice blog!</description>
