During Discussion

by Pawel Brodzinski on September 1, 2008

Next time you’ll be in the middle of discussion try to:

1. Agree with other party argument when they sound reasonable. At least once.

2. Find new points to support your position when you believe you’re right. At least once.

3. Propose completely new model when you don’t seem to reach consensus. At least once.

4. Stress statements of each party you agree with when you’re an observer. At least once.

5. Look for satisfactory consensus instead of keeping as many own points as possible. Always.

It will help.
