I ended up with sticky notes but I didn't make this decision very consciously. It was just the most convenient for me. I used to use lots of pieces of paper, but I found I would often lose them (especially when I was studying at university). Now everything is contained in one book. I use different books for different 'life spheres', i.e. I have one for personal stuff, one for work, one for a committee I'm a member of etc I use a small notepad for a lot of the applications you use sticky notes.
